Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had an interest in automobiles and Rootes cars in particular — my Dad was a Rootes dealer in Paris, France back in the 60’s. He taught me to drive in a Hillman Husky, the chassis which was the basis for the Sunbeam Alpine.
I was lucky enough to acquire a ’66 Tiger Mk1A of my own in 2002 and to become the editor of TigerTales, the newsletter for the Southern California C.A.T. Club for a year. This began my interest for eye-catching Sunbeam gifts and apparel. Unable to find any that I liked, I decided to start designing logos associated with Rootes cars and the Tiger in particular. As a professional graphic artist, it gives me great pleasure to offer these designs to enthusiasts like you. Designs which are the beginning of a new line of apparel, gifts and accessories that I hope will catch your interest.
As I strive to honor the heritage of the Tiger during its landmark anniversary, I promise to keep offering items with a quality and value that surpasses any you have seen so far. I encourage you to make Sunbeam Classics your first choice to find what you have been missing, for the past 40 years.
Drive safe and keep in touch along the way.
